To minimize lags and stutters, you should consider reducing graphics options if you’re using a low-end gaming PC. Most instances of lags and stutters in Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet are caused by wrong graphics settings.

To maximize performance you should turn off Ambient Occlusion, as it requires a lot of GPU resources and processing power which should result in a considerable boost in FPS. You should also consider turning off Anti-aliasing as well to ensure the game can run at a 50 FPS. If you’re expiring screen tearing then enabling Vsync should help you fix the problem.

If you currently have the latest driver then you should consider downgrading to an older driver or if you are still using an old driver then try out one of the recent drivers and this will help you with resolving the Fatal Error issue.

If you’re having issues saving the game, random crashes or the game lagging or stuttering without any reason then try running it in Administrator mode. This will allow Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet to run with admin privileges which can help prevent a variety of bugs and crashes.

Some players have also complained about the game crashing abruptly and remaining stuck at the infinite loading screen upon re-launch. This problem can be simply solved by going to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local and deleting the SAOFB folder.

This will erase all the present configurations and save files of the game but you can retrieve your saved files from the Steam Cloud sync. Just launch the game and you should be good to go.
