Both Easy File Renamer and Advanced Renamer support renaming both files and folders. You can rename documents, music, videos, photos, any other file types as well as folders.
User Interface
Easy File Renamer’s interface is very simple and beginner-friendly. You can start off within seconds without much trouble. The main interface is primarily divided into two parts. On the left-hand side, you can choose the renaming rules of your choice. On the right-hand side, you will see the list of files for renaming and the previews of the file names.
Advanced Renamer also has a beginner-friendly interface with tons of features grouped to make things easier for non-tech savvy users.

Cloud Renaming
Cloud Renaming is a unique feature of Easy File Renamer. With your purchase of EFR, you get FREE access to Cloud File Renamer service. Cloud File Renamer lets you batch rename files on major cloud storage platforms such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, & Amazon S3 etc. There’s no need to download any files for renaming. You can use Cloud File Renamer straight from your web browser regardless of the device you use (computer, MacBook, tablet, etc). CFR accesses your data using secured official APIs provided by the cloud storage service companies such as OneDrive and Dropbox so there’s no compromise with your privacy and data security.
Advanced Renamer can only rename locally stored files (those on your hard disk, USB stick, external hard disk, etc). Cloud file renaming is not supported. You will need to download all files from the cloud to your PC for renaming and then re-upload them again. This can be a very time consuming and complex operation.
