Over the past few years, Instagram has grown to become one of the most widely used social media networks. From foodies to travelholics, and from beauty bloggers to entrepreneurs, Instagram has become the most favorite tool for many people out there.
Be it the amazing retro filters, the live video feature or the general overall idea of the social app, there is just so much to adore about Instagram. No wonder it is used and cherished by people from diverse backgrounds and age brackets.
Instagram is determined to regularly bring in new features and improve their users’ experiences. For example, they recently came up with the idea of a donation sticker. Eligible non-profits or their supporters can easily use this sticker to raise profits for a noble cause from within the app. Similarly, Instagram has also decided to test a shopping tag through which users can buy products (from approved sellers only) their favorite bloggers or influencers. Currently, this feature is only available in selected markets.
One of the most popular and useful features Instagram came up with a couple of years back is the Album feature. When Instagram initially started gaining popularity, users were only allowed to post a single picture in a post. However, using Instagram’s Album feature, users can now upload up to 10 photos/ videos in a single post.
Have multiple pictures from the same event? Want to post them all but don’t want to populate your follower’s feeds? Try creating an album! It’s easier than you think.

- Once you have made all the necessary changes, tap Next on the top-right corner of the app’s interface.
- Next, apply a filter of your choice. You can also apply different filters to different images. Simply tap the small circle displayed on each image’s bottom-left corner and then select the filter of your choice.
- You can also change the order of the photos/ videos in your post. Tap a specific item, hold it and drag it to a spot of your choice in the post.
